The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Shenandoah Raiders (Middletown, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), saw Shenandoah's volleyball squad nip Union County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Shenandoah upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Raiders host Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN) to play the Royals in a bout on Tuesday, August 29. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

The Patriots now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Knightstown for a bout on Thursday, August 17. Union County will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
