In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Bristow moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Pirates host Wagoner (Wagoner, OK) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A District 7 contest on Thursday, August 17. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 3-1.

In their next game, the Whippets play the Macomb Hornets (Macomb, OK) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 16. Varnum will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.
