The Cairo Syrupmakers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Lowndes Vikings to 7 in the Syrupmakers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Cairo moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Syrupmakers travel to Tift County (Tifton, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Thursday, August 17.
