In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the host Boles Hornets (Quinlan, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Buffaloes battle the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, August 18. Lone Oak will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX).
