The Fairfield Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Neches Tigers to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caprock for a non-league game on Friday, August 18. Fairfield will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Dumas (Dumas, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 6-2.
The Tigers (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Westwood gained a win over Oakwood (Oakwood, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
