The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS) and the host Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS), saw Stone's volleyball squad nip Forrest County Agricultural by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Stone upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Tomcats host Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS) to play the War Eagles in a Class 5 Region 5 bout on Tuesday, August 22. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-4.

The Aggies now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Marion for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. Forrest County Agricultural will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
