The Hawley Bearcats topped the host Grape Creek Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearcats now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lone Oak for a non-league test on Friday, August 18. Hawley will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 4-3.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Horizon defeated Tornillo (Tornillo, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
