The Texans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Forney for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 17. Sam Houston will play a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 6-3.
