The Somerset Briar Jumpers topped the visiting South Laurel Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Briar Jumpers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayne County for a non-league test on Thursday, August 17.
The Cardinals (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Bell County gained a win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN), 3-1, in a non-league test.
