Salem Hills Skyhawks (Salem, UT) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Salem Hills advances its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Skyhawks host Springville (Springville, UT) to clash with the Red Devils in a 5A Region 7 test on Tuesday, August 20. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 2-2. Springville lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT)

The Utes now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph for a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. Uintah will clash with a Jayhawks team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT). The Jayhawks record now stands at 2-0.
