North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, North Iredell improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Raiders host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to face the Red Tornadoes in a test on Monday, August 26. The Red Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 0-2. Hickory lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Bandys (Catawba, NC)

The Cardinals now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Airy for a non-league test on Monday, August 19. East Surry will face a Granite Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 0-1.
