Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY) and the visiting Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), saw Muhlenberg County's soccer squad triumph over Barren County by a count of 5-0.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Eagles enter the District 10 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Ohio County was overwhelmed by Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 20. Barren County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).
