The Sulphur Bulldogs triumphed over the host Dickson Comets softball squad by a count of 12-6 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 19. Sulphur will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Choctaw (Choctaw, OK).

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Byng (Ada, OK). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Byng edged Roff (Roff, OK), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
