The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Bridge City beat Liberty (Liberty, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 15. Anahuac will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX).
