The Wake Forest Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Athens Drive Jaguars to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Clayton for a non-league outing on Monday, August 19. Wake Forest will play a Comets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Comets record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Athens Drive drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to play the Bengals in a non-league outing on Monday, August 19.
