The Blooming Grove Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Hillsboro Eagles to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Keene for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 17. Blooming Grove will play a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dawson (Dawson, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Hillsboro drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Abbott (Abbott, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 15. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
