The Brooks County Trojans volleyball squad (Quitman, GA), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Bradwell Institute Tigers (Hinesville, GA)

With the win, Bradwell Institute improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, GA) to encounter the Pirates in a 5A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, August 20. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Trojans now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ware County for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 15. Brooks County will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Gators record now stands at 2-1.
