The Bobcats now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Buffalo for a non-league outing on Friday, August 16. Cross Roads will play a Bison team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Bison record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Winona drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Milford (Milford, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, August 16. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Milford lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Carlisle (Price, TX)
