With the win, East Marion advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Salem (Tylertown, MS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-0.

The Jaguars now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Forrest for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 20.
