Texas High School Volleyball - Edgewood tips Mt. Pleasant

The Edgewood Bulldogs (Edgewood, TX) volleyball held off the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hughes Springs for a non-league bout on Friday, August 16. Edgewood will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over New Boston (New Boston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cumby (Cumby, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, August 16. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Cumby lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)
