Next, the Apaches play the Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 16. Gonzales will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Angels come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX).
