The Runge Yellowjackets prevailed the visiting Ingleside Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 3. Runge will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record.
The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Pettus (Pettus, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Pettus was dropped by Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
