Next up, the Panthers face the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 16. Midway will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over West Plains (Amarillo, TX).

The Rebels (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Fort Stockton was edged by Wink (Wink, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
