The Northwest Texans edged the visiting Taylor Ducks volleyball squad by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

With the win, Northwest improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Texans travel to Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-2. Round Rock Westwood lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Rouse (Leander, TX)
