Georgia High School Football - Edmund Burke Academy defeats St. Andrew's

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) and the host St. Andrew's Lions (Savannah, GA), witnessed Edmund Burke Academy's football squad topple St. Andrew's by a score of 30-6.

With the win, Edmund Burke Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans host Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Robert Toombs Christian Academy lost 24-14 in their recent non-league match against Pinewood Christian (Bellville, GA)

Coming up next, the Lions meet the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 22. St. Andrew's will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Dolphins come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 36-0 non-league loss to Beaufort Academy (Beaufort, SC).
