The Kalani Falcons held off the visiting Kohala Cowboys football squad by a count of 7-6 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pac-Five for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Kalani will meet a Wolfpack squad coming off a 40-16 non-league loss to Kalaheo (Kailua, HI). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-1.
The Cowboys (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Waiakea (Hilo, HI). The Warriors go into the Big Island I challenge with a 0-1 record.
