The Park City Miners got by the visiting Wasatch Wasps football team by a score of 28-23 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Miners now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ridgeline for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Park City will meet a Riverhawks squad coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Morgan (Morgan, UT). The Riverhawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Wasatch drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wasps travel to Cyprus (Magna, UT) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 22. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Cyprus won 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Clearfield (Clearfield, UT)
