The Lightning now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fountain Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 18. Sage Hill will face a Barons team coming off a 30-12 non-league loss to Sonora (La Habra, CA). The Barons record now stands at 1-2.

The Mariners (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Aztecs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, La Quinta lost by Sonora (La Habra, CA), 32-0, in a non-league challenge.
