In Friday's non-league contest, the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) soccer team edged the host Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), by a count of 2-1.
With the triumph, Kenston moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Normandy (Parma, OH) to meet the Invaders in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 20. The Invaders come into the match with a record of 0-1.
The Greenmen now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Twinsburg for a non-league match on Saturday, August 23.
