In Friday's non-league outing, the host Copley Indians soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Streetsboro Rockets.
The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lexington (Lexington, OH). The Minutemen enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Rockets confront the Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) in a Metro Athletic outing, on Tuesday, August 19. Streetsboro will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Manchester (Akron, OH).
