With the victory, West Muskingum improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Tornadoes host Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH) to play the Scotties in a Muskingum Valley game on Wednesday, August 20. The Scotties come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Johnnies (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Panthers come into the Licking County game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Licking Valley edged Heath (Heath, OH), 3-0, in a league bout.
