The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Asher Indians (Asher, OK) and the visiting Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK), observed Asher's softball team get by Moss by a tally of 11-6.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Tupelo (Tupelo, OK). The Tigers enter the Class B contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Tupelo was routed by Ada (Ada, OK), 9-8, in a non-league contest.

The Pirates now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host New Lima for a non-league contest on Monday, August 18. Moss will battle a Falcons team coming off a 12-11 league loss to Strother (Seminole, OK). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
