With the triumph, Bacon County improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Raiders host Thomasville (Thomasville, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A D-I Region 1 game on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 4-2. Thomasville lost 6-1 in their recent league game against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)

The Cougars now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Crawford County for a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. Crisp County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
