The Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish softball team (Oklahoma City, OK), was routed 6-2 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK)

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Konawa (Konawa, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Konawa was routed by Oktaha (Oktaha, OK), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

The Fighting Irish now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Midwest City for a non-league contest on Friday, August 15. Bishop McGuinness will face a Bombers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Del City (Del City, OK). The Bombers record now stands at 2-0.
