In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mustang Broncos softball squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Blanchard Lions.
Next, the Broncos play the Purcell Dragons (Purcell, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 15. Mustang will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Harrah (Harrah, OK).
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Tahlequah nipped Del City (Del City, OK), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
