The Byng Pirates overwhelmed the host McAlester Buffaloes softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Sulphur Bulldogs (Sulphur, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 18. Byng will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Wilson (Wilson, OK).

The Buffaloes (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.
