Camden County Wildcats (Kingsland, GA) supporters exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA), 8-3 in a non-league match.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Westfield School (Perry, GA). The Hornets come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Westfield School nipped Stratford Academy (Macon, GA), 9-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 16. Emanuel County Institute will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Rutland (Macon, GA).
