The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs (Edmond, OK) and the visiting El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK), observed Edmond Memorial's softball team get by El Reno by a tally of 10-5.
The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Guthrie (Guthrie, OK). The Bluejays go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Guthrie was routed by Claremore (Claremore, OK), 12-0, in a non-league contest.
The Indians now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Elgin for a non-league contest on Monday, August 18. El Reno will face a Owls squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bartlesville (Bartlesville, OK). The Owls record now stands at 2-3.
