The Kiowa Cowboys overwhelmed the host Tishomingo Indians softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys meet the Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 18. Kiowa will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Miners go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Quinton (Quinton, OK).

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Byng (Ada, OK). The Pirates come into the non-league outing with a 4-1 record.
