Spectators at Friday's non-league contest between the Konawa Tigers (Konawa, OK) and the host Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK), saw Konawa's softball squad nip Midwest City by a score of 5-2.

With the triumph, Konawa advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Porum (Porum, OK) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

The Bombers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City, OK). The Chargers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Heritage Hall held off Blackwell (Blackwell, OK), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
