Oklahoma High School Softball - Pocola can't get by Lone Grove

The Lone Grove Longhorns nipped the visiting Pocola Indians softball team by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Longhorns now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owasso for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. Lone Grove will confront a Rams team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Pocola moves to 5-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Adair (Adair, OK) to meet the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 16. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Adair won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chelsea (Chelsea, OK)
