The Lowndes Vikings overwhelmed the host Peach County Trojans softball squad by a count of 11-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings meet the Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 22. Lowndes will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.

With the loss, Peach County moves to 2-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 4-0. Emanuel County Institute won 2-0 in their recent league test against Metter (Metter, GA)
