In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Moore Lions softball team scored a tight 8-3 win over the Putnam City North Panthers.
With the triumph, Moore upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Jenks (Jenks, OK) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, August 15. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dewey (Dewey, OK). The Bulldoggers come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Dewey nipped Skiatook (Skiatook, OK), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
