With the triumph, Strother improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Macomb (Macomb, OK) to face the Hornets in a Class A contest on Monday, August 18. The Hornets enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Macomb lost 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK)

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Moss Pirates (Holdenville, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, August 18. New Lima will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 11-6 league loss to Asher (Asher, OK).
