The Quinton Savages (Quinton, OK) softball routed the visiting Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK), 9-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Savages now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilburton for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Quinton will meet a Diggers squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK). The Diggers record now stands at 0-2.
The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Wolves go into the 3A test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Heavener was routed by Talihina (Talihina, OK), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
