The South Houston Trojans volleyball squad (South Houston, TX), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Akins Eagles (Austin, TX)

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Marble Falls dropped by Rivera (Brownsville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. South Houston will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
