The Bartlesville Bruins volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host McAlester Buffaloes to 0 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now have a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Union for a Frontier outing on Tuesday, August 19. Bartlesville will play a Redhawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK). The Redhawks record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, McAlester drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-2. Lincoln Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Oklahoma Christian (Edmond, OK)
