In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Bixby Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Yukon Millers.

With the win, Bixby improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK) to face the Tigers in a Frontier test on Tuesday, August 19. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-2. Broken Arrow lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Community Christian (Norman, OK)

The Millers now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southmoore for a Central Oklahoma challenge on Friday, August 15. Yukon will meet a SaberCats team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Edmond North (Edmond, OK). The SaberCats record now stands at 0-1.
