The Nixon Mustangs topped the visiting Blanco Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 16. Nixon will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Greyhounds enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Prince of Peace (Carrollton, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Prince of Peace gained a win over Savio (Austin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
