In Friday's non-league match, the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) volleyball team knocked off the visiting North Central Texas Academy Pioneers (Granbury, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Tolar for a non-league bout on Friday, August 15. Boyd will clash with a Rattlers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 0-1.
